ARE YOUR SMOKE ALARMS FALSE ALARMING?

This can be very stressful and you will want to know how to stop them triggering.The first thing you need to do is look for the alarm that is flashing red (more than the other alarms).This will be the alarm that has triggered and set them all off.Note: Cleaning the alarm that triggered may resolve the issue or if not it can be replaced with a new alarm of the same model.If you hush the alarm and then turn it off it will stop the alarms from repeating their fire warning cycle. There are instructions for this on the label at the back of the alarm.

Current Versions: Vulcan Series

  • Homes with the current versions of the Emerald Planet Volcan Series alarms may include:

  • EP-VC-240-10 (Running off 240v with backup 9v battery and with either wired or wireless interconnection)
  • EP-RANG-RF-10 (Running off a 10 year lithium battery and with wireless interconnection)
  • EP-VC-RF-MOD (wireless module plug in for EP-VC-240-10 model to allow wireless interconnection with other Volcan series alarms)
